This is pretty much the way I saw Cruz's performance too. I don't think he lost any votes...if anything he picked up a some votes. The Donald of course ran away from the entire debate. I wonder how much that is weighing on the minds of Iowa voters?

Good night, Bush. Good night, Cruz.

Crus did very well, as did the others. Much more civility in this one and I did enjoy that.
What happens when a ball team refuses to play or simply no show?

This is almost exactly how I saw the debate too. I was shocked when most of the reviews came out more negative for Cruz - especially on the immigration debate where I thought Cruz had won hands down.

I am so ready to be finished with Iowa. The entire primary. Seems to last forever.

Its hard to listen to and take Jeb! seriously after he said he wanted to win without Conservatives. so in any debate he’s in I instantly ignore him.

(Donald J Trump- why would the people of Ky want a rookie senator when they have Sen Mitch Mcconnell)

I’m reading a lot of conflicting views. Cruz won to Cruz lost big is one example.
My take:
It won’t move the needle for anyone and it’s already forgotten.
