Cruz, Beck, and their supporters, do not seem to understand what a red flag it is for we who witness such public displays. The behavior comes across as insincere, calculated and pandering.

I do not want a Christian Baptist theocracy any more than I would want a Muslim theocracy. If you are going to govern according to Christian morals / ethics - that’s all well and good ... But there is no need to constantly parade it before the voters. The message that such behavior gives is “why does the candidate feel the need to constantly reassure us of his or her Christian values?” Sort of along the lines: “Methinks the man protest too much.”

Religion is personal. BOR is divorcee. His wife cheated him. Megan 3 or 4 time married. Newt is married couple times and cheated couple of times. And they call them religious.
Like yesterday Trump said my kids are good, I hope they stay like this , but you don’t know in future they may change.
