Trump countered by calling Kelly a bimbo. He took it to grade school insults rather than pointing out that Fox made an agregious error in posting something snarky.
He keeps saying Kelly is a lightweight. Then take on the lightweight at the debates! He is supposedly the better man; much smarter, much richer. He could easily handle this. What’s going to happen if he is President and Russia, China, North Korea, or another power is “Unfair” to him? Is he going to call them names and say “I’m not going to talk to them. They’re low energy, stupid bimbo’s.”. I can’t see that boding well for the US.

You see what Trump did, right? He turned Fox’s attempt to put him into a no-win scenario into a no-lose scenario for him.
I want him to do that for the United States. If they’re not going to bargain in good faith or try to take more than you’re willing to give, then a diplomatic FU and walk away from the table. It’s what Reagan did to the Soviets re: missile defense.
This behavior is cruder than that, but it works the same way, except for the fact that it involves the US population too. Don is using his leverage, and it’s working.
