The price tag for implementing President Obamaâs executive gun controls is $80 million, Attorney General Loretta Lynch declared during her January 20 testimony before the Senate Appropriations subcommittee.
Lynch said the administration will begin pushing for the money in Obamaâs 2017 budget request, due next month, according to ABC News,
Sheâs already meeting some opposition. âThis subcommittee will have no part in undermining the Constitution and the rights that it protects,â subcommittee chairman Senator Sen. Richard Shelby (R-AL)68% (R-Ala.) told Lynch.
But another Republican lawmakerâSenator Shelley Moore Capito (R-W.Va.)â suggested she would support the program to expand of background checks on gun-purchasers.
In addition to expanding background checks, putting new requirements on federally licensed gun dealers, and co-opting a ban on gun ownership for some Social Security beneficiaries, Obamaâs executive gun controls include the hiring of âmore than 230 additional examiners and other staff to help processâ¦background checks.â who was carrying out Roofâs background check, Comey said.

The question about needing help for stuff was very apparent, at least for me. Maybe not so obvious to others, and they trip the trap.
Screw Obama. Don’t give one cent for this crap. This is why our Government is set up the way it is. Congress writes laws and supplies the money for them. Not the President writes law and Congress supplies the money. Tell him and Lynch to piss off........
That should prompt a lot more than $80M in gun and ammo sales.
How fast will Ryan and the rest of congress fold and give him more than he asked for?
Congress will likely appropriate three times that much, with token opposition from the Republicans.
