Trump’s critics always take his “Iowa insult quote” out of context.
Trump did not insult Iowans. What he said in context was that Iowans, like all Americans, are an intelligent people who will not be fooled by Ben Carson’s fictional childhood memories.
That was the strangest Speech I’ve seen him make. I cracked up when he walked around the Podium, grabs his Belt Buckle and asks how it could stop a Knife thrust.
Of course, he was absolutely correct. Dr. Ben had some confused memory of that incident, if it even happened, LOL.
I actually think Trump was pretty tired when he gave that Speech and it showed. He was flying all over the Country and I think it was catching up to him. He is 69 after all.
