You have no clue. A business can contribute as much as they want to any politician of any party. If you are solvent and can afford it, ask a lawyer.

It is illegal only is if there is a quid-pro-quo which can be proven in court. Only imbeciles would get a written agreement from the politician that the contribution has strings attached. In case you do not know it, EVERY MAJOR business contributes to BOTH parties. Time to understand the real world.
