What garbage?
He’s admitted that he was deep into the sexual hedonism of the 70’s and 80’s. (The Studio 54 stories are not for delicate ears. He put it in one of his books.) He admitted that he cheated on his first wife and screwed up his marriage. He took total blame.
He said that AIDS woke him up and he knocked that business off.
This is up there with the ONLY truly beautiful Obama moment that I was truly impressed by.
A reporter shoved a mike into his face and asked him if he’d ever done pot. He flat-out said ‘yes’. The reporter followed up with, ‘did you inhale?’ He laughed and said ‘yes. That was the point.’
Right there he disarmed ALL of the ‘Obama did drugs in college’ scandal.
Yes. I did it. So?
And that really was the end of it.
So Trump’s always admitted that he screwed up his first marriage. He admitted to 20 years of philandering. To this day, he says, “I like beautiful women. So?”
And that stops the attacks.
We’re not talking morality. We’re talking about strategy.
And that’s the way you do it.
As has been pointed out on another thread Trump owns the downside.

Great post.
The power of the word “so” is underrated. Clinton the idiot could have used it for his pot question. He also could have said, in the Paula Jones case, “I am the President. Deal with this when I’m out of office. What are you going to do, put the President into jail for contempt of court?” They wouldn’t have. Clinton’s not that smart.
Yes, that impressed me too. Maybe the only time Obama ever impressed me. Contrast that to Clinton's pathetic "...but I didn't inhale."
The point is that Americans love honesty. We aren't looking for altar boys to be president.
One thing you'll never hear Trump say is "I did not have sex with that woman." That's because Trump hates to admit he failed at something.
