But Ted Cruz is also a birthright citizen and has every right to run for the office of President.
This topic is silly, brilliant politics, but silly.
Ted had a six day bus tour of Iowa that was supposed to a victory lap and it’s turned into a cluster-f and media circus. If it’s not reporters asking him about being Canadian, it’s King Corn trolling him on ethanol.
I still believe Cruz is going to win Iowa, but all of this will hurt him further down the line. I just think some folks don’t want to vote for a man born in another country, no matter how good he is.

I cannot believe how crazy this is. A natural born citizen is a person who is automatically a citizen at birth. Like McCain. Like Cruz. Like, currently, anyone born here even to illegal parents, which I do think we should change.
My son was born to me, an American, outside the country. He had his pass from the American embassy within days. His birth certificate is an original, not filed anywhere. He was born an American. The same is true for Ted Cruz. He did not need to be naturalized.

I think you are right... Although I don’t know how big the “some” is. It could be substantial.
