Comedic legend Jerry Lewis recently sat down for an interview with the Catholic EWTV outlet. The riveting interview, which aired Thursday, concluded with current events, including Obama, Trump, ISIS and even the refugee crisis. Lewis did not hold back, bashing Obama as a failed leader, smacking down the idea of importing more Syrians, and praising GOP front-runner Donald Trump for his "showmanship."

Raymond Arroyo, host of “World Over,” asked Lewis about the horrific emergence of ISIS. Lewis first wondered aloud where our NATO allies were to tackle the “world” problem and then commented that they are “asking to be stopped.”

“They’re asking to be stopped and we’re not stopping them; we’re just reporting what they’re doing,” asserted Lewis. “It’s ridiculous!”

Arroyo followed up with a question about the refugee crisis currently facing the West.

"You don’t have uncertainty in a leader; a leader doesn’t give sh*t what he does, but he gets it done."

“Refugees should stay where the hell they are,” said Lewis bluntly. “Hey, no one has worked harder for the human condition than I have, but they’re not part of the human condition. If 11 guys in the group of 10,000 are ISIS—how can I take that chance?”

Lewis is not alone in this feeling; as of last month at least 31 governors rejected President Obama’s push to accept Syrian refugees into their states. Reports of ISIS now having access to a machine that makes American passports and recent revelations of the holes in our vetting system, borne out in the horrific San Bernardino terror attack, are just a couple of the factors legitimizing such pushback from the American people.

Lewis then said that President Obama was “never prepared” for ISIS and suggested that he was not a real leader.

“What I’m watching in him (President Obama), is uncertainty. You don’t have uncertainty in a leader; a leader doesn’t give sh*t what he does, but he gets it done,” said the legend.

The clip concludes with Lewis praising Trump for his “showmanship.”

“I think he’s great,” said Lewis of Trump. “He’s a showman and we’ve never had a showman in the president’s chair.”

“Well, we had Ronald Reagan,” Arroyo interjected.

“Well, that’s different,” answered Lewis. “You can’t make do a comparison on Ronald Reagan because I can do three hours on him with just praise, he was so good.”

ISIS is only this months flavor of religious ISlam. ISIS is just one small head of a massive hydra.

Wipe ISIS out and another will arise...and then others.

The problem is orthodox islam.

Until that problem is address, the world will continue to suffer.

Why pick on Lewis? He’s a very old man but he gets it! He dislikes Obama and supports Trump. Just because he’s not into the weeds like some of us is no reason to say he doesn’t get it.

I'm not picking on him, I'm just setting the record straight about the REAL enemy.

Once ISIS is dispatched, there are thousands of other enemies right behind them.

When leaders call ISIS the enemy, it is an attempt to give a pass to the real enemy...Medina islam.

Reasonably. Many younger posters I have stayed in touch with started leaving during the frequent crash period. Even more got run off during one of the great purges. I have no way of proving it but I would wager a hefty sum that the demographics have shifted at least 10 years upward on average age of active FReepers in the last 6-7 years. Go back and look at threads from more than 10 years ago. There was a definite presence but 35-40 year olds now not so much. My son turned 40 this year and is reasonably tech savvy. He doesn’t get the attraction to FR - to clunky compared to other conservative sites. My younger offspring say the same thing. Good if you still have dial up service one said.

And he has survived more than one near-fatal health crises, one which blew him up above 300 lbs. He looks amazing, his mind is sharp and he is saying all the right things, except one. I so want to hear him say SCHLONG!
