In this case, appearances coincide with reality.
TRUMP knows exactly what's going on, and he speaks the TRUTH about it.
stephanopoulos cannot understand what TRUMP is saying. It's all waaaaaaaaaaaayyy over his head.

What Trump does that’s truly great and extremely effective is that he doesn’t treat reporters like they are some impartial brokers of news. Instead he treat them as who they actually are - propagandists for the left, and so he goes after them personally and joyfully eviscerates them.

That was the best interview any candidate for president ever gave to an MSM talking head.
Trump took Georgie out to the woodshed and beat him to a pulp.
Georgie kept whining and crying and complaining and every time he did, Trump beat him with a stick.

He really did. Often, partisan supporters over-state the performance of their favorites in these interviews, which tend to be mild thrust-and-parry affairs. This was a tour de force that left George with his tongue in his mouth mumbling under his breath. Remarkable.
