Cruz will definitely give us better judicial picks than any of the other candidates.

Really?

On Justice John Roberts Cruz wrote
But, as a jurist, Judge Roberts's approach will be that of his entire career: carefully, faithfully applying the Constitution and legal precedent.

He is a mainstream judge, respected across the ideological spectrum. Thus, he's earned praise from liberal icons such as Harvard Law Professor Larry Tribe, and Chicago Law Professor Cass Sunstein, as well as from Clinton Solicitors General Walter Dellinger and Seth Waxman, and Carter and Clinton Counsel Lloyd Cutler, the latter two of whom both described Roberts as a man of "unquestioned integrity and fair-mindedness."

LOL.

Supposedly Cruz offered that amendment as a poison pill. The quote you gave shows Cruz explaining the amendment.

Actually there is more questionable quote from Cruz in 2013 somewhere, but you haven't found it.

But again that was 2013.

Trump on July 24th 2015 which is two years later, talks a legalization amnesty for the non criminals.

Certainly, if a 2013 statement of a legalization amnesty is troubling, then a July 24 statement of a legalization amnesty is MORE troubling.

Agreed. Americans do know how to recognize a lead dog when they see one.

I don't think that was a poison pill amendment, I sincerely believe that Cruz is open to legalization of most illegals that have been in this country for x years. Had he amendment(s) been accept he would have voted for the Go8 bill. Everything he say points to that conclusion. Just the other day he said "secure the border and then we can have a conservation about the illegals here". We all know what "having a conservation means". I much prefer Trump, Enforce the law, Build the wall. Cruz uses weasel words, Trump doesn't.

I like Cruz on a lot of issues but immigration is a biggy to me and while Cruz is not bad on immigration Trump is much better. Trump is better on jobs and trade too.

Uh huh. It’s only “pretty definite” to those predisposed to see it that way.

That Cruz-Rubio exchange muddled the amnesty/legalization terms and what they may be defined as. Probably intentionally since both have issues on the subject and need some plausible deniability as cover.

Later, when Trump was given the chance to live up to his promise of tearing Cruz down, the GOP front-runner instead offered a huge hug. "I have gotten to know him over the last three or four days, he has a wonderful temperament," Trump said. "He's just fine. Don't worry about it."

Outstanding!

Those so predisposed based upon the man's past words and actions.

What do you base your bias on?

” That he refuses to tell us where he stands on this most important issue is all I need to know. Go Trump.”

Cruz is a brilliant scholar, and wordsmith. What I asked of him was kindergarten simple. We didn’t get it.

A shame about Rubio really. He was a bright light and important member of the Tea Party alliance that was attempting to regain the power in this country and return it to the people.

Something went wrong. He was seduced by the establishment/one-worlder/leftist dark side of the Force.

Cruz and yes even Paul could not save him and indeed whacked him good up around the head and neck. And Marco deserved it. He sold out. It shows. And he got caught.

It is a shame the three of them can't have a sit down and pull Marco back to where he was.

And for that f@# f*@& Crispy to lay into them in that classless attack on their constant fighting for the people who elected them was outrageous. They are not mere legislators...they were fighting for us as they promised and did not deserve to be slammed by that Rino HO!

I'd better stop there.

.....crispy.... I don't want that lard ass within 500 miles of the White House when we win. NOT 500 MILES.

.....whew... :-)

“Before Trump, the immigration argument was “Of course we should allow unlimited immigration. Should we do a path to citizenship now or later?”.
After Trump, the argument is “Build the wall, deport”.

Before Trump the muslim immigration question was “Admit someone unless specific reasons not to.”
After Trump, the muslim immigration question is “Admit no one unless specific reasons to do so.”

GREAT job!

That was nearly a Trump Cruz love fest last night. They were last seen heading for one of those Elvis impersonator wedding chapels there in Vegas.

As for Trump getting hammered about suggesting we kill the families of the COWARDLY radical leaders of these muslim murderers, issuing a death warrant for the families of these people might cause them to reconsider dispatching their brainwashed and largely illiterate fellows to murder US if THEIR families will die.

General Sherman correctly observed that “War is hell”. We’re in a WAR!

What’s so different from Trump’s idea than the allied fire bombing of Dresden in February, 1945, 6 months before the German surrender? An estimated 100,000 to 500,000 men, women and CHILDREN were killed. The exact number could only be estimated because there were so few actual intact corpses to count! Many historians believe it was an act of pure revenge for Hitler’s indiscriminate bombing of Britain and they’re probably right.

Then, of course, there was Hiroshima & Nagasaki in August of ‘45. Scores of thousands of Japanese women and children died to save American lives by avoiding an invasion of the home islands.

All Trump is suggesting is that an EARNEST PREEMPTIVE threat to these SAVAGES MIGHT save the lives of OUR INNOCENT WOMEN AND CHILDREN WHEN THE FIGHT HERE ON OUR SOIL REALLY GETS CRANKED UP. THANKS TO OBOZO AND HIS IMBECILIC “IMPORT AN ISLAMIST” PROGRAM, IT SOON WILL!!

As much as it’s possible, I hope Cruz and Trump can somehow work together. I know some things were said, but hopefully they can forgive each other.

These are two great men that the nation needs at this time!

Cruz admitted that he was wrong back in 2003 about his Roberts prediction.
