Cruz openly telling donors(who can’t be trusted) his plan is just dumb and arrogant.

Cruz has never hidden his plan - it has been widely known for a long time that a key piece of the puzzle for Cruz would be to get the support of other candidates as they faded. He went after supporters of Walker, of Perry, of Jindal... That is one of the reasons Cruz will not attack other candidates (Rubio seems to be the exception). It just seems to offend Trump and his supporters that Cruz actually admitted that he expects Trump to eventually fade as well.

.
>> “How can he speak of the Carson and Trump campaigns as if they are similar.” <<

.
They are totally similar WRT suitability for the office they seek.

>> “They are both non-politicians...” <<

False. - Trump has been a politician all of his adult life, hob-nobbing with and buying off criminal politicians.

Trump continues to sink with informed voters.

That’s either above or below my pay grade. And I don’t have one.

At my local Pubbie hq, the women were first Benomites, then Snarlyites (she won their straw poll), now Cruzicons. They just pretend Trump doesn’t exist.

I think Snarly won the straw poll at the GOP National Women’s
Convention held in AZ, too.

I do wish Corbin Casteel would reach out statewide, and not just Houston and Dallas area.

RitaOK, you did nothing wrong.

If you thought I was under that impression, I wasn’t precise enough with my thoughts.

I appreciate your contributions as well.

Love the hugs... = :^)

If you’ll think about it, the “gravity” type comment has become a laughing stock around here. For that reason I don’t like to see Cruz use that concept.

It’s kind of a self-destructive ploy.

This isn’t an anti-Cruz comment.

Oh dear, your projection complex and irrational hatred for Trump are so bad that your delusional state has come to the fore.

I hope that you don't have any children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, or neighbors with children.

I'm a Trump supporter, Cruz is my second. Honestly I could vote for either, but the reason Trump is my first is because of Cruz's stance on H1B's. I just wish Cruz would "get right" on that issue.

I concur with your assessment. I did not hear a single, malicious word come out of Ted Cruz's mouth. He simply stated what he thought and framed the race from his perspective of "who *has* taken on Washington DC?" I think that's a valid question.

I don't think it's offensive...I just don't think it's very smart...Cruz opened the door to let Trump remind voters that while Cruz is the most pro Constitution supporter of the bunch, he's still one of the bunch...Cruz supports big business as opposed to the working man/woman...Typical Republican platform...At some point Trump has to hammer that truth home but it would have been better for Cruz to wait and see if his numbers come up to where he is in the competition...

So you think Cruz should be telling donors, "Yeah I think Trump is going to win, but give us some money anyway..."???

"Cruz is like the worthless lazy grandson waiting for his grandpa (trump) to die because he’s not capable of or won’t try making it on his own."

That's a spot-on analogy!

After all, Cruz inherited millions of dollars from his rich daddy and went to prep schools, while Trump - the sone of an exile from Castro's Cuba - was memorizing and defending the Constitution in his teens and worked two jobs to pay his way through college.

Oh....wait.

"No way is Cruz getting the Trump voters; especially the black ones !"

He might get one. But you're right: I don't think he'll get the other.

Trump has at least 25% of the black votes right now and may even get MORE.

From what I've seen and heard....they are fiercely loyal to Trump and it is he, and ONLY he, whom they will vote for in the GOP crowd.

Nope...His mistake was leaking his statement to the press, at this time...
