Well yeah. Regular old violence isn’t a problem. Only gun violence is an issue. Axes, hammers, machetes, baseball bats, rocks, hands, feet..............meh.
The political elite aren't worried about such manually operated implements of destruction. Your chances of busting through a phalanx of bodyguards and having at one of them with an axe handle is zero to negative infinity.
Guns, however, allow one to 'reach out and touch someone' at great distances. This is what disturbs them so much, and causes them to stain their dainties at the sound of a car backfire.
The only safety the gun-grabbing politicians are interested in is their own. And the functional retards we call celebrities are nothing but annoying gnats, looking for relevance and acceptance from their political betters.
