Oh my! You have Rhodesian Ridgebacks! We had 2 of them as well, Odie and Hazel! 2 of the best dogs we have ever had. They were brother and sister from litters a year apart. They both passed in the late 80’s. How I loved those fabulous dogs.

We’ve had six so far. We’re thinking of getting #7 next spring. :)

Our pup herd is getting older, 11, 10, 10, and 7. I would love to have another RR when we need another dog. I said “need” because that is how I feel about dogs. ; )

The RRBreeder where we got our dogs is no longer breeding. I have seen some RR,s that were smaller and more slender than Odie and Hazel.

The sire of our pups had actually come to Texas from South Africa. Our dogs were scary smart, especially Hazel!
