Many of the country's cinemas are refusing to show an advert made by the Church of England.
The film shows different people saying a line each from the Lord's Prayer.

Accoring the UK Guardian cinema’s now claim this is done because they do not want to offend Star Wars moviegoers, yeah right.
It is haram.
Seriously, the CofE is no longer Anglican. In fact, it is barely Christian, much like the other European “official state religions”, which are decrepit beyond belief and fading fast.
Nobody has a final tally of how many clergy and laity jumped ship to become Catholics, when given the offer by John Paul II. But what is left of the CofE, and now the North American Episcopal church, is just the dregs.

Actually more the militant secular/humanist crowd. The UK Muslim council has BACKED the advert. And criticised the ban.
UK cinemas don’t take religious or political ads. I am surprised they tried to do the ad. Personally, as an atheist, I am not remotely ‘offended’ by this though.
