What a stupid comment! The police have a right to be safe, they don’t have a right to mete out “justice” at the end of a night stick or a gun! I guess we will just have to see how this matter plays out. I live in the East Bay, so I will see local press accounts.

Sorry, it sounded like you were making a causal connection between people getting beat by the cops and others committing assaults and murders on cops. Like the kind of people who would do that would need a reason.

I guess, then, I'm not sure what kind of point you were trying to make.
