*Vanity* Is Trump's initial support of resettlement of Syrian "refugees" (ISIS) cause for concern?

Given his initial support in bringing "Syrian refugees" for resettlement in the U.S. should there be cause for concern over Trump's judgment as well as his commitment to truly following through on his promises of achieving sovereignty as well as security?

Maybe, but many of his positions in this campaign are very different from what they were just a couple of years ago. So if you are prepared to accept that Trump's change of heart is sincere, it seems like you would do the same for the other candidates who have changed positions...

This kind of stuff is just a way for an anti Trump person to try to get in a dig without getting getting flamed. Its almost too pathetic to bother with. :-)

Life in America is different now than a couple of years ago, or haven’t you noticed? Did we have 1,000 Syrians ‘refugees’ in New Orleans a couple of years ago? I don’t think so.....

I think your right, and if Trump isn’t elected POTUS and some idiot wimp gets in there and then starts complaining, we need to bury the idiots for not listening to begin with!!!

Notice these concern trolls never seem to be upset that no other GOP candidate has said boo about bringing in the Syrian refugees. He isn’t concerned about what they might do. LOL!

Cruz hasn't changed at all - he supported allowing the Syrian Christians who are being martyred to be allowed refugee status, but not the Syrian Muslims. And he hasn't changed. And no, I didn't condemn Trump's position on refugees at all. I am just pointing out the hypocrisy of the average Trump supporter in constantly condemning other candidates for what they immediately forgive when Trump is involved.

Rubio is still fighting for illegals (H1b visas) Bush, love, Fiorina doesn't try to say she's changed her business approach, Kasich, (nuff said).
I don't dislike others for former positions just don't like them. Except Ted Cruz, he's solid.

B.S. Cruz was the H1B until he found out the only way to up his poll numbers was to back tract it...and that’s what he did, now he’s busy yakking about immigration....only because Trump has it for the base of his campaign and HAS NOT BACKED DOWN....

Like lots of other people, he likely thought that refugees meant refugees, not an invasion force of military age males. Look for a change in that attitude now.

You'd think our gov't would figure that out. That would require thinking. They're paid to obey, not to think. And they want to keep those cushy jobs and benefits.

Fair question. Actually it showed that Trump is WILLING TO LISTEN to people he trusts.
Like most (maybe all) of my co-workers, he was initially tricked by the media...but he quickly corrected himself when giving the truth, and has not looked back.
Certainly the kind of person that I want in the White House.

I am with you. The initial statement that I recall was for a humanitarian response, could have been support for a refugee camp, which in later responses it became.

Yep, he’s a dem and an expert marketer.
He knows how to judge people and tell them what they want to hear.
And the sheep fall for it.
