OK, it's one poll. I have no idea how valid, or really who "Gravis Marketing" is - though I've heard of them before.

Still fun and a little interesting. And not out of line with national polls...except as Ben Carson is concerned.

Trump - 29
Cruz - 12
Rubio - 10
Christie - 8
Jeb! - 8
Carson - 7
Kasich - 5
Paul - 5
Fiorina - 4
Jindal - 1
Huckster - 1

Hank

“Clearly it won’t go to Trump. Anyone inclined to support Trump is already doing so. As candidates drops out, their supporters will migrate to one of the serious candidates - which at this point appear to be pretty much just Cruz and Rubio. So the interesting thing to watch will be where those supporters go.

Trump is NOT going to be the nominee. Not going to happen. He’ll stay at his 30 percent until that become apparent to all. So where will the other 70 percent go? Who knows? But it’ll be interesting to watch.”

With all due respect. That could have been summed up as “I dont like Trump, and everyone that supports anyone else will give their support to someone I like better....because reasons”.

At some point people need to knock off the “he isn’t a real candidate” nonsense. People supporting other candidates are not some monolith block that will heap over to candidate X en mass . Some will go to X, some Y others will do what I call “falling to the front”, where they see who is in the lead and has momentum, and go with that person to be part of the “winning team”. This is what happens in every election.

NH is an Establishment, socially liberal state, so I have a hard time believing the Cruz numbers. I’d like to believe them, though.

I wouldn’t take Trump out of the picture at this point...and I believe if he does go it will be because he’s determined he doesn’t want the Presidency, for as he goes further into the cycles he’s also learning just what holding that office means....I’m not convinced he will really want it as he discovers the true nature of the office and the dynamics surrounding it....only time will tell.

Cruz will continue to rise...Rubio will be left in his wake should these two be left standing. And no doubt immigration isn’t helping Rubio with the state of affairs currently.

I was surprised myself to be honest, but I suspect, I could be wrong, maybe what has happened in the past week, with the protests out at Mizzou and the terror attacks over in Paris could have played a role.

According this this only Trump, Cruz and Rubio would get any points in the primary. You must have 10 percent of the vote at least and NH does their results proportunary so it is not winner takes all like most blue states like NJ only rewards one candidate their 51 points. So you better win NJ if you want any points at all.

Rubio is a frightening prospect but not like Hillary or even worse Bernie. The problem is that Rubio bashed Obama yesterday and suddenly he gets media attention. Not sure why Cruz didn’t although he did complain about interest rates being high even though they are at zero......the media pounced of course.

Rubio is the very same as the establishment we've had...he's a puppet who will do what they say regardless how he presents himself now......Cruz is doing just fine....

I fail to see the appeal of Rubio. I heard his parents weren’t citizens when he was born, thus he (along with Jindal) doesn’t even qualify under the Constitution. I cannot think of any great accomplishments. He gets a poor grade on financial dealings. He is pro amnesty, part of Gang of 8. He appears slick and immature. He is not somebody who could take on Putin.

any poll done prior to Paris is worthless.
Hey mommy, who makes your children safer,
Hillary or any Conservative Republican?
Go Ted Cruz.

What utter nonsense! Of course Trump wants it! He fabulously successful in what he’s done, now adding the Presidency is just icing on the cake for him. His only problem wll be living in that relative “$hit hole” called the White House.

I hate it when you're right about me being wrong, but you are. Whoops. This was not an oxymoron. Thank you.

After the events in Paris on 11/13, I will be adding this

The real picture here is that rinos can't break 40%.

Soon the game will be who drops out to help their side. Rinos and their overseers have this game down pat, conservatives like to split the vote because we do not have overseers which rinos exploit.

"Please go to DU where you will find similar thinkers."

Actually, over on DU they, like Trump (at least until he started running for President as a Republican):

- Promote a single-payer health care system
- Support "Assault Weapons" bans
- Adore Planned Parenthood
- Express admiration for, and contribute to, Hillary Clinton (4 times - most recently in 2007) and say she was a "fantastic senator"
- Propose nutty ideas like "wealth taxes." (In 1999 he proposed a 14 percent wealth tax.)
- Think leftists like Trump's sister would make excellent Supreme Court Justices
- Believe there should be few limits to Eminent Domain

And on and on. For a Trump supporter to call a Ted Cruz supporter like myself someone who would be more comfortable on DU is really pretty funny, considering you're supporting a guy who HIMSELF would have been comfortable there until pretty recently.

Ted Cruz was fighting for conservatism since well before Trump STARTED giving money to Clinton. Trump has been fighting for Trump and nothing else.

Anyone who thinks Trunp's conservative credentials match those of Cruz doesn't belong on FR OR DU....

He belongs in the booby hatch.

Warmest Personal Regards,
Hank
