When I was at the University of Guam I tried to find copies of the graduation programs from Colombia for that year. I spent literally hours searching for one. I wanted to see if Obama’s name appeared in the program.
The programs are often kept as mementos by the graduates. I found it odd that I could not find one online listed on someone Facebook page or blog. I found copies of most years but not one for Obama’s class
I used inter-library loan to request a copy of one from Columbia university archives and the request was not filled.
Kind of strange. I doubt that everyone in the class is part of a conspiracy but it is strange

It would be possible that one professor might have not remembered Obama, but not all of them.
My guess is he got a free ride into Columbia via the wealthy Saudi who donated millions around that same time. And, it was probably best he did not go to any classes especially if he was not a good student - he would have stuck out and had been remembered as the student who couldn't cut it.
It is strange that your ILL request was not filled, because librarians are more than happy to search for everything.
