As governor, Coolidge shut down a police strike saying there was no right to strike against the public at any time and any place. Mister, we could use a man like him again.

Little correction here.

It’s been theorized by the government-paid political class, that doing away with the minimum wage and labor laws against employee prostitution, etc., in the private sector would allow for raising taxes on private sector businesses and provide more revenues for administrators and enforcement in government offices.

Wages are too high, said the billionaire.

Welfare giveaways — not wages — are too high, Trump.

Well, the cost of consumer goods constantly increases, so if you are not raising wages to keep up with that, then you’re essentially giving your employees a pay cut every year.

Maybe if we dumped the currency manipulators at the Fed we could have steady wages, but not in this current system.

Reminds me of Romney’s 47 percent comment.

The democrats will have a field day with this. This statement all by itself might cost him the general election.

” But the express purpose of his immigration policy is the anti-capitalist attempt to repeal the law of supply and demand on wages and artifically increase wages without improving productivity.”

Whoa there... how is enforcing immigration laws “anti-capitalist”????

Dream on. The only people this will pizz off are voters who would never vote for Trump anyway.

2) Trump says wages are too high. But the express purpose of his immigration policy is the anti-capitalist attempt to repeal the law of supply and demand on wages and artificially increase wages without improving productivity.

So, you're for open borders and the unrestricted movement of labor all around the world?

I'm well aware that Trump is contradicting himself, but in your solution you assume there should be no restriction on the supply of labor in the US. That means open borders and the free movement of labor across borders.

That's a little cringe worthy coming from a billionaire.

No, it was part of his answer to imposed higher minimum wages.

There’s some dumb one here who don’t know the context, don’t read, or did not hear Trump live answer the question, or are BS’ing.

How so?

Trump is all for folks having the highest earning capacity, that they’re capable /deserving of. (Hard work = good pay)

Almost sounding a bit class envious, there, FRiend.

“The democrats will have a field day with this. This statement all by itself might cost him the general election.”

And the problem is, Trump’s mouth will get that narrative pasted over the whole cast of candidates. Yeah, it’s all entertaining to hear him give sh*t to the media, but he needs to learn to check himself once in a while before shooting from the hip on serious policy matters.

Whose wages are too high?

There's a whole lot of slackers that are overpaid because "it's the thing to do" in this PC world.

I use the story about the guy who was interviewing for a job and asked the owner of the business how much it paid.

The owner told him, "I'll pay you what you're worth".

The man responded, "I can't live on that".

The fact that many folks wages have stopped going up to keep up with or outpace inflation isn't because of folks who make statements/have opinions like Trump's.

Now for a short public service announcement to all on FR:
I prefer Cruz and my money goes to his campaign, hence the Cruz link. If you like someone else, donate to him/her (find your own link to do it) and if you use FR and don't donate, then please don't complain about the welfare leeches or those who have Obama Phones because, functionally, you are no different than any other FReeloader

PS - If you are one of those who cannot afford even a small donation to FR or a candidate, God Bless and happy FReeping!.....

GO CRUZ!! Keep it up Trump!!

Donate to Cruz

Donate to FR

The people are not going to pay $20.00 for a McDonald's meal

That is a ridiculous supposition.

I like how they left out in the title that he is referring to Minimum Wage. Boy they do this all the time with Trump.
