Both Trump and Carson have proved themselves, their character, in the demanding areas of medicine and business.

I think what Limbaugh is saying is that these are accomplished individuals who have reached the top rungs of their fields. They are being arrogantly condenscended to by nobodies who haven't accomplished in their own careers anything near to what Trump or Carson did in theirs. And yet, these critics feel that they have the right to demean, degrade, belittle, and dismiss Governors, Senators, Doctors, and CEOs, because they are Republican.
