Thank you for telling us how conservatives should vote.

I’ll do the same then - conservatives shouldn’t vote for someone weak on amnesty. Whether they call letting illegals stay amnesty or not - NOBODY is for amnesty when asked, even McCain. But letting them stay equals amnesty.

Cruz refuses to say, which worries me a lot. If he had a conservative position he would say so.

See my post #69 for details. I don’t like to repeat the same thing on the same thread - it’s annoying for others to read.

Did I say to vote for the one who was 100 percent conservative with absolute perfection or did I say to vote for the most conservative candidate?

I wish Cruz would be stronger with his immigration statements too. I wish he hadn’t voted the way he did for a couple of other things.

I think Sarah Palin was the closest to perfection I’ve ever run across when it came to conservatism and even she had a couple of things I didn’t agree with her 100% or wish she had made stronger statements about. I was really disappointed in her support of John McCain. But it wasn’t enough to make me not want to vote for her. IMO she still would have been the most conservative candidate if she had run the last go-round.

Thanks for your response CottonBall.
