Ted Cruz was on Special Report tonight in a great interview, but there is a part of it that needs to be highlighted.
About midway through the interview, Bret Baier regurgitated the same lame attack that his predecessor Brit Hume has been leveling at Ted Cruz, an attack Hume even leveled at Cruz last night. The attack is that Ted Cruz is a fighter but he hasn’t won anything.

Baier was almost speechless. Ted did very well. I could not get through the panel tonight. It was awful.

Bret Baier has always seemed like a nice guy to me, but the way he closed up the interview with Cruz was pretty rude. What is wrong with these guys?

Watched that interview myself. Cruz was masterful as always. He commanded the discussion and represented himself (and we conservatives) exceptionally. Well done.

You wonder if Baier and all are getting their lead from above. Sure seems so. I’ve always liked Baier, but he does seem to be negative on anyone not GOPe as are most of the Fox people.
Cruz was just great! He’s not afraid to speak up — and he has his facts ready! I hope people are beginning to notice.

Yes, I was listening to it, and what was so amazing was the alacrity and specificity with which Cruz rattled off three achievements. The man is amazing.
