“Insane” would imply that there were only some error in the way information is processed in the mind of the Chancellor. Worse than that, is the implication that Germany should be in some way be forced to do penance for past misdeeds. Only the mind of a zealot, or one totally corrupted by evil, would conceive of and carry out what is nothing less than the depopulation of the region of all Nordic folk and replace them with a low, murderous aliens completely at odds with the indigenous Europeans.
However you may feel about the historical Germany, the nation deserves better than this in today’s world.
