If that is the case in Colorado, the ccw holders have not taken a Colorado legal class. I have been carrying 14 months, took one when I got my permit and 2 after I started carrying. They are fun, informative, teach how to be prepared for an active shooter and use of deadly force situation AND the aftermath. NO GUN SIGNS are not legally binding in Colorado except schools and federal property so they could not be charged because they didn’t break any law. This is the first I have heard of this. If true there could be other reasons. How many of us can practice in a dark smoke filled noisy range shooting downhill let alone with lots of panicked folks running around.

Oh, they take courses all right - but far too many of them from some “Uncle Fred” bottom feeder who spends most of his time telling war stories.
