Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has weighed in on the shooting at Oregon’s Umpqua Community College and has a solution to the problem of school shootings that liberals will hate.
Trump points out that if teachers were armed they could have provided protection for those killed in the shooting. He also says that the only people with guns in these ‘gun-free zones’ are the “bad guys.”
“Everybody was sitting there and there was nothing they could do, not a thing they could do,” Trump said on FOX. “The police did a fantastic job getting in that quickly, but there was nobody with any protection.”
“Wouldn’t they have been better off if somebody in the room, anybody, anybody, had a gun to at least help them out?” Trump said. “It was a terrible thing. And these gun-free zones are a disaster. Everybody’s just a sitting duck.”
He added that he believes shootings like this are more mental health issues than gun issues.
“We have to do something about mental health. It is becoming a bigger and bigger problem. Certainly, every one of these instances with the school shootings and the movie theater shooters, every one of them turns out to be the same kind of a character.”
President Barack Obama asks Americans to ‘reconsider their position’ on guns. Obama, Hillary Clinton and other liberal gun control advocates are politicizing the shooting to further their gun grabbing agenda.
Conservative Tribune points out that Trump didn’t bow down to the media pressure.
He wasted no time in stepping up for millions of Americans and declaring he would “defend the rights of law-abiding gun owners.”
“They have background checks already in place,” Trump said. “That was in in 1998. People slipped through, and our government’s not doing a great job.”
Trump never minces words and once again, he gets straight to the point on this issue.
While everyone on the left seems to think that taking our guns away will solve the problem of mass shooters, what we actually need is more people using their Second Amendment rights as a way to counter these madmen.
We still have the right to protect ourselves from people like the Oregon shooter and from a government that could turn on us.
Trump is on the right track. He knows taking guns away is not the solution.

Seems that the shooters have no fathers in the home, have had mental problems, and are taking psychotropic drugs. The problem is not the gun.
the left promotes mental illness and then can’t face the facts that they have created this mess. Now they want to promote homosexuality and cross dressing. The they want more third world immigrants here and then in a decade won’t face the facts those muslims will attack their other promotion of homosexuals and cross dressers.
Yes mental health plays a role. But this is a LIBERAL issue. LIBERAL is the core of all of this. Not black, not gun, not any of the rest. LIBERAL. Address LIBERAL and you address the correct problem. The rest is all category error.

Don’t just read the article; listen to the whole interview. The Fox people do a very responsible, professional job of interviewing the Donald and he hits the ball out of the park on every topic, including dealing with Syria and the upcoming influx of Mudslime invaders. Nobody has a better view of the mass shooting problem.
That and start throwing the Parents in jail.

Or lie there and “play dead” with a bullet in your spine like that girl had to do and hope the shooter didn’t notice that you were still breathing.

On another site someone is claiming that if guns were made illegal most of the law abiding gun owners would simply turn in their guns. There would only be a few holdouts and they could be easily hunted down and their guns taken (presumably by people with guns which doesn’t seem to bother them as they assume they will control those with the guns confiscating the guns).
This is how utterly without logic and any semblance of reality many of these people are. I’m not doubting their sincerity ... they really truly want in their hearts for us all to live in violence free paradise .... but what do they have for brains? You have to question not the motives but just the simple lack of intelligence or any brainpower at all really.
Sure, I’d love to live in a violence free world as well. But I cannot just turn off my brain and logic and common sense. It has to be a really neat trick to be able to do this.
