As a resident Trump opposed gambling because it destroys lives. As a businessman he would be the first to open a casino if it were approved. Says it all.

I agree, it’s turning into idol worship.

But evidently it’s nationwide. Look at the polls tonight.

No way Trump won this debate.
It’s fine if they want to support him but to claim he won is either delusional, or dishonest.

As much as I love Cruz, I have to say Rubio won the debate on style, and information conveyed.
Cruz is a skilled debater, and as such, when he’s not called upon, he doesn’t interrupt.
When the numbers on stage are reduced, Cruz will shine.
He’s doing fine with voters, who are pouring money into his campaign. It’s still way early.
This will get serious after Christmas.

oh please be real

What does that even mean?

Here's the Trump quote from The Miami Herald, 1994, weeks before the gambling referendum — which lost big, and Trump was credited for helping that loss:

"As someone who lives in Palm Beach, I'd prefer not to see casinos in Florida."

Here's more:

“As a resident of Florida, I’m very concerned about the effect casinos would have in the state. Casinos would affect the lifestyle of Floridians. People will spend a tremendous amount of money in casinos, money that they would normally spend on buying a refrigerator or a new car. Local business will suffer because they’ll lose customer dollars to the casinos. You can also expect crime to go up precipitously. Believe me, the casinos will make money for the state and the companies — but they won’t be a bed of roses either.”

Right on! Trump has been in the casino development business much longer than Bush was the gov of Florida. If he really wanted a casino there, it would be there. Bush was just grasping for straws. It was correct for Trump to push back and not allow mis characterizations of past history concerning his business.

Rubio lost the moment he came out in support of amnesty in 2013, and lost again tonight when we were reminded of that fact. Anyone who thinks Rubio won is either delusional or a filthy amnesty supporter.

Idol worship?

This country is in big trouble. It got that way by your corrupt politicians destroying the greatest civilization ever. Many American citizens can’t even find jobs.

You people keep trusting politicians that are owned by rich internationalist donors and foreign interests.

So you get shown a quote showing that Trump spoke out against the gambling referendum-- thus proving he did not lie-- so now you're bashing Trump for owning casinos? You need to pick one and stick with it. You're the deranged person here.
