Slipping far back in polls, can Jeb Bush bounce back in the next debate?
Washington Post ^ | 9/13/15 | Ed O'Keefe

In recent days, Jeb Bush has spent time in his comfort zones: Kennebunkport, Maine. New Hampshire. And Miami.

A four-day Labor Day break at his family compound was followed by a quick stop in North Carolina to unveil his tax reform plan before two days of campaigning in the Granite State — a state he needs to win and where he always seems to campaign with more ease. He attended a raucous rally in Miami on Saturday to open a new campaign field office — just miles from his national headquarters — to help him win Florida's Republican primary in March.

Buoyed by the sight of family members and old friends, Bush used a visual aid in speaking about the current state of the Republican race.

"The party that I believe in..." he said as he unbuttoned his shirt to reveal a red "Reagan Bush '84" T-shirt. Getting his point, the crowd drowned him out with cheers.

Since the start of the year, Bush has held political events in New Hampshire and Florida most often, according to a Washington Post review of his schedule. But winning the GOP nomination will require time spent in less familiar places, such as Iowa, where he earned just 3 percent support in a poll released Sunday.

Unless he turns up in Donald Trump outfit, hair and all and does a damn good imitation of a real American, I'd say,"Not a friggin' chance."

If he had half a brain he would realize that the Bush name is toxic. His father lost to some upstart from Arkansas with a shrew of a wife because folks held him responsible for a recession. His brother narrowly one two elections and presided over and was held responsible for economic collapse. The very fact that he does not realize he could not possibly win the general election disqualifies him for just about anything. Can’t imagine why his backers don’t know this.

Most of the GOPe bottom feeder candidates will be protecting Bush.

However, that won’t help Bush.

As voters want to see Bush engage Trump, which Bush is incapable of.

Trump has Bush on the run.

¡Yeb! is the worst Democrat in an R jersey they have ever tried to get us to vote for.

He is their Designated Loser so they will try everything they can to nominate him.

"How's that for high energy?" he asked, showing off a photo from his June campaign kickoff. Flipping to an older image from when he was nearly 40 pounds heavier, he said: "This was low-energy."

Trump is living rent free in Jeb's mind.

Naaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah.

Nobody who wants unlimited Mehhicccan (OR muzzie, OR Somali, OR Syrian) “immigration” (i.e. invasion) need apply.

Unfortunately, this means MOST of them—doesn’t it?

Jeb’s problem is he’s nowhere in Trump’s league.

He doesn’t stand a chance against Trump.

Against any one else, he could come back.

Let’s face it, he’s not presidential material.

T-shirt gimmicks don’t change it.

From supporting amnesty for illegal aliens (sometimes insulting us by giving speeches in Spanish) to being squishier than squishy on Second Amendment guarantees...

Jeb is not the guy or gal we want as our standard bearer.

Jeb is not a bad person; and I do not dislike him. He is just too close to the progressive elites; and I just want a traditional Republican to get the nod.
