So we have given aid and weapons to the terrorists in Syria but we’re opposed to Russia doing it?

Obama is responsibe for the refugee crisis in Syria, Libya, Iraq, Yemen, etc.

Putin wants Poland. His cheerleaders want him to have it.

No, I think Obama suspects they are Russian bombers on their way to bomb Mr Obama’s terrorists of choice ISIS in support of Assad.

He was wrong with the whole Arab spring all along. Start in Egypt which was not ready for elections. All that bloodshed is on his hands. Fast forward to Syria where he helped arm everyone and their uncle if they said they wanted to overthrow Assad. Of course some of those arms went to the nascent ISIS. Now he wants to get into a peeing match with Putin. All because of Obama’s ego.

I refuse to fully buy into our governments claim that Assad is the bad guy in this mess.

Most of the Christian Iraqis that fled Iraq because of the war there went to Syria. They knew Assad’s government offered protection for Christians. Also, Syria hasn’t been as extremist muzzie as most of the nation’s over there. The women are treated much better.

Obama and his regime were on the wrong side in Egypt and Libya. Why should I believe obama is on the right side this time?

Obama’s thin red lines in the sand mean nothing. The Russians will likely ignore him.

Putin wants to secure his warm water port.

It is at risk if ISIS overthrows Assad.

Time to root for Russia.

Who are my enemies?
Obama, The Muslim Brotherhood, and ISIS.

If you ever get the chance watch Assad’s interview with Charlie Rose on YouTube. Here are a couple of highlights:

On Saudi Arabia: Wahabbist nutjobs (paraphrasing)

On Turkey and Erdogan, “He thinks he’s the new Sultan.”

The liberal media and our government tell us that Assad is the bad guy. I refuse to just believe our government anymore. I prefer my own research.

- we were on the wrong side in Libya. Muammar Gaddafi had opened is weapons arsenal up for inspection. They were no longer a real threat to us or anyone. There is no way we can justify the action we took to overthrow their government. The people of Libya are much worse off now because of the Obama regimes aggression. The liberal media was all on board for Obama’s attack.

- the crisis in Iraq is Obama’s fault. He pulled our military out too quickly for political reasons. We wouldn’t have ISIS if Obama had a clue. The liberal media certainly doesn’t blame him.

- Obama’s muslim brotherhood pals briefly overthrew Egypt. This wouldn’t have happened if not for Obama. Egypt has long been one of the more stable governments in the middle east. The liberal media was celebrating the overthrow of Egypt.

- the people of Yemen thought Obama had their back. He led them to believe that. Obama lied again.

If Obama and the media tell me that Assad is the bad guy, I am not just going to take their word for it. Assad may not be good but he’s much better than the ones we’re supporting.

Russia and Iran are helping Assad. Are you equating the US as the moral equivalent of Iran and Russia?

Should we be opposed to Russia helping Iran with nuclear technology since we provide weapons to Israel?

Putin is a vile dictator who is currently trying to take over part of Ukraine. He has already seized Crimea.

Greece is part of NATO. They should be helping us.

Do you believe Obama’s morals are any better than the Russians or Iranians? According to recent events, Obama has great trust in the Iranians.

Obama had us help overthrow Libya. HE WAS WRONG. Obama helped the muzzie brotherhood overthrow Egypt. HE WAS WRONG. Obama screwed up Iraq. HE WAS WRONG. Obama is on the wrong side of the Israel - palestinian issue. HE IS WRONG. Obama is wrong on almost every issue. I don’t trust him.

The Syrian government was attacked by terrorists. What do you think Assad should have done? What do you think the US government would do if attacked by terrorist?

You mention moral equivalent in one paragraph but in the next you seem to forget that we have just now given a pass to Iran to develop nuclear weapons. The moral equivalent of our current leaders is meaningless to me.

Assad was never the murdering, disgusting hordes like ISIS, that Obama wanted us to think he is.
We should have been helping Assad’s troops from the beginning against those creatures from hell.
And I think the best thing to happen to Egypt is the election that put Sisi in charge. I feel he was a perfect choice at this time. He appears to be reasonable, something lacking elsewhere in that troubled area.

I believe the US morals are superior to the Russians and Iranians. Obama has 500 days left in office. I support stopping Russian and Iranian influence in the Middle East. Greece should have complied with our request.

Obama had us help overthrow Libya. HE WAS WRONG.There was an ongoing civil war in Libya. We led from behind. The French and other NATO countries took the lead. They were the force behind intervention because of oil interests and refugee flows into Europe thru Italy.

Ghadaffi was a murderous dictator, but he was a stabilizing force. Whether he could have won the civil war without NATO intervention is conjecture. No doubt there would have been a bloodbath if Ghadaffi won or lost. Knowing what we know now, it was a mistake to help in his downfall.

Obama helped the muzzie brotherhood overthrow Egypt. HE WAS WRONG.

I don't know how much help the US provided. Clearly, the majority of Egyptians wanted Mubarak out. We did support the generals behind the scenes. As it turned out, the MB is out and we are now normalizing relations with Egypt including giving them arms and aid.

Obama screwed up Iraq. HE WAS WRONG.

Failure to secure a SOFA agreement paved the way to the current situation where we now have 3,500 advisers on the ground trying to snatch back a victory squandered by Obama. The Iraqi government is also partly responsible because they rejected a SOFA.

Obama is on the wrong side of the Israel - palestinian issue.

As are most of the Dems.

The Syrian government was attacked by terrorists. What do you think Assad should have done? What do you think the US government would do if attacked by terrorist?

BS. The revolution started internally by the Syrian people who were trying to overthrow a tyrant. The outside influences came later. The initial uprising was by patriots, not terrorists. Unfortunately, we didn't intervene at that point and help them.

To equate a murderous dictator like Assad to the US government shows again your attempt to equate the US morally with a dictator. Hard to believe anyone woud be siding with Assad and his Russian and Iranian backers. If Israel had not taken out Syria's incipient nuclear facility, conditions would be much worse.

The Kenyan is continuing his bullying of the school yard.

He was the busy little beaver on this holiday weekend when no one is watching over him. First, he spent more of our tax dollars by giving gov contracts paid vacation and now this. The holiday isn’t over yet.
