a lack of national public polling following the August 6 debate has so far provided only three new polls

You would think that as interesting as this race has become, polling places would be putting out polls left and right.

Interesting that the media have pretty much stopped releasing polls that confirm Trump’s rise.

lack of national public polling

Ah....so now we get to the crux of this whole Fiorina problem. The problem is NOT that CNN wanted to use ancient polling data from July. Rather, the problem is that polling data dried up unexpectedly! Hence, the polls they were planning to use haven't been refreshed and they are stuck with July polls. Gee, I can't imagine why the polls would have dried up..../sarc

The RNC is allowing CNN to moderate why?

Would love to see Fiorina displace the smarmy Kasich. Please. No more mailman stories.
Can’t wait for the seven dwarves to move along.

Let’s just include everyone. Give each a 1 minute question and give the Moderator 30 minutes.

September 2011 debate only had 8 candidates.

How are they going to whittle this down if 10 candidates are chosen every time and you have 7 others waiting in the wings. This insanity of including everyone needs to stop. I hope CNBC puts their foot down in the October debate which will be all about the economy.

What about Gilmore and Bobby Jindal? Jim Gilmore needs to be in this debate, too. He is a former governor. Jindal is a sitting governor. Show some respect! Santorum should be in it too - he is going to win Iowa he said! Mitt Romney is about to jump in and hasn’t had a chance to poll yet. To be fair, Romney should also be included in the next debate. Anyone that has ever run or is running should be in the debate. As Reince Priebus said, the more the merrier! /s

CNN changed the debate rules to bolster the attack on Trump.

Trump is going to be attacked by a woman now.

They’re figuring that Trump will step in it responding to a woman, so they need her there.

I doubt Trump is that stupid as to fall for that trick, in the this debate (he is a quick learner, after all).
