Mother’s house looks like it’s in a not bad neighbourhood. I was a little surprised by that, as she sounds like a fool. Son didn’t suspect there’d be surveillance cameras? Also a fool.

Mother’s house looks like it’s in a not bad neighbourhood. I was a little surprised by that, as she sounds like a fool.
You think she actually made the downpayment and closing costs, PLUS pays the mortgage AND the taxes?
There are over a dozen state and Federal programs that allow poooooooor minorities to live in almost any neighborhood - whether they can afford it or not.
These programs always attract the worst and most irresponsible bottom feeders - and in no time a "not bad" neighborhood becomes a crap hole.
