Secretary of State John Kerry Signs United Nations Gun Ban Treaty Against Wishes of U.S. Senate

If U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry has his way the United Nations will be able to say if Americans are allowed to have their Second Amendment rights. He has just signed an anti-gun treaty with the United Nations that the U.S. Senate has already said it is against.

The treaty Kerry signed without authorization from the Senate would create an un-Constitutional registry of all US gun buyers and would lead to the UN controlling American’s gun rights. Secretary of State John Kerry on Wednesday signed a controversial U.N. treaty on arms regulation, riling U.S. lawmakers who vow the Senate will not ratify the agreement.

John Kerry can s*ck it.

Isn’t Obama supposed to be the one signing the treaties under the Constitution?

knowing that obozo is lawless and views the UN as the supreme power over the US, the constitution nor the congress will stop him from putting in place enforcement of this UN treaty. Think social/economic collapse and Jade Helm. He still has over a year to complete his mission.

I think they are using the back door. Remember that reverse bill that allows the Senate to pass treaties with only 33 senators?
Me thinks that we got shafted by both sides.
Wait, next will be global warming bs treaty.

Of course, that doesn’t mean our totalitarian leftist government wouldn’t try to implement the “treaty” anyway.

300 million guns and 80-100 million gun owners. Good luck with that.

Well, since trade deals only require 51 votes to ratify and the Iran deal only requires 34 votes to ratify, why not throw a gun treaty out there and see how many votes it gets.

Exactly.
Who ever voted for that or voted to allow that bill to come to the floor are traitors

Like so many things this lawless administration does, Horseface’s action was:
Ultra Vires
[Latin, Beyond the powers.] The doctrine in the law of corporations that holds that if a corporation enters into a contract that is beyond the scope of its corporate powers, the contract is illegal.

So, the question is, are the states going to allow this to happen?

Even if the Senate were to approve this “treaty,” it still would have no legal validity. It would require a Constitutional amendment to repeal the 2nd Amendment. Of course, that doesn’t mean our totalitarian leftist government wouldn’t try to implement the “treaty” anyway.

Oh, they WILL. Obama, Kerry, and the rest of the Uniparty believe they are a power unto themselves, and that the Constitution is no longer operative. They will attempt gun confiscation as soon as they think they have sufficient power to accomplish it, at least in the Democrat-controlled zones.

This country is going to burn, friends. Get ready.

Very few in the Democrat-controlled zones (NY, NJ, MA, CT, RI, IL, HI, Cincinnati, St. Louis, NYC, Boston, Chicago, LA). This will be their first area of attempted confiscation, I bet.

Does the Corker Bill have any application, or was it specifically for the Iran deal?

"Does the Corker Bill have any application, or was it specifically for the Iran deal?"

Doesn't apply here. This is clearly a treaty and cannot be implemented by executive action alone, which is what Obama claims for the Iran deal.

I’m pretty sure any treaty. While all the Congress critters are on vacation. The demo can pass this on their own. Just like Obama care.

Two words: `jury nullification’.
As intimidating as the federal dragon would have us believe it is, at the end of the day all power springs from the people.

Since when does the Sec of State sign formal treaties? The Constitution says ‘the president’ may sign treaties and takes effect upon 2/3 approval of the Senate.
