According to the Left, Washington and Jefferson were first and foremost "racist slaveholders," none of their other achievements matter. The PC Left would like to take their monuments down too, but they don't have the popular support on those targets (yet). So they go after easier targets which won't have the same name recognition and public support, like Stuart.
