No one respects weaselly press secretaries, like the ones Obama has. Combative press secretaries get the job done, but they make too many enemies along the way.
Steyn would be totally different from either of those two types. Steyn would control the room with logic and wit. That's a rare combination. It was something that Reagan had, by the way.
