Florida Wildlife Officer Shot And Boat Is Stolen

Florida Panhandle authorities have arrested two men they say were responsible for the shooting and wounding of a wildlife officer.

The Bay County Sheriff's Office reported in a news release that the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission officer was on his boat Friday afternoon when he was shot.

What it doesn't say is that the two punks were vacationers from up north to the beach. They stole a sailboat and got in a loud argument within earshot of a wildlife officer. He asked for ID and one produced a Glock. Afters hooting the officer they stole his boat and raced toward the town side of the bay and beached it by the Yacht Club in front of a bunch of people with cell phones. One ran east, the other ran west. One ran into a house and when he went upstairs was met by the homeowner with his own Glock and his phone already to 9-1-1 who is recorded ordering the punk down on the floor. He said he was going to shoot him. A second later the cops came through the front door and the first officer up the stairs asked the homeowner to please not shoot the punk because they needed him alive for a proper arrest. I don't know how he other punk got caught but the homeowner is a neighbor of mine. The wildlife has got a couple of holes in him but he will be okay. Homeowner put the gun in his waistband and was never told to put it away from him or turn it over to the police.

White boys loaded up on some kind of gofast. Teens don’t steal sailboats. When I first heard the ongoing reports I heard sailboat and knew it was white boys.

The punk hid the Glock under the sofa cushions before he went upstairs. Were it in his hand going up the stairs he would have been pushed back down the stairs by .40 caliber.

He did have upper body armor which stopped three of five bullets. The others went through his shoulder and arm.

I saw an interview with a Bay County deputy on the local TV.

I wasn’t paying close attention but did hear him say that it was good the homeowner was armed and also that it was good for citizens to be armed.

There are some good cops out there.

The two punks weren’t vacationers they were thug transients. The one the FWC officer shot had a warrant out of Michigan and the other thug had already been arrested once here in Panama City for disorderly conduct.

I live in Panama City Beach. We have a lot of thug thug transients here. They blend in with the tourists and frequently rob the tourists and break into cars and condos. A large percentage of the arrest reports will label these folks as transients and they are committing many crimes here.

During this years controversial Spring Break, I heard the sheriff state that the real problem was with the “100 milers”.

Hundred milers are the folks from Alabama, Georgia, and other locations nearby (within a hundred miles or so) and prey on spring breakers by selling enormous amounts of drugs. They often rob the drunk spring breakers and steal their cars. Kinda eazy pickings for the thugs.

I forgot to add, that the hundred miler thugs live so close by that they come down every weekend and prey on a new group of spring breakers who come to town. Several rapes taking place also.

Many of these thugs are black as revealed in the weekly Panama city police mugshot photos but certainly not all. We did have one young black thug that started shooting up the place near my condo this past spring break. He shot 6 or 7 people but fortunately no one was killed.
