Nah, I think Trump will hang around awhile. Much as I think "the Donald" is a political fraud, I don't think he did that badly in the debate - especially considering it was his first. While I like Kelly, her war on women question really was dumb. Trump was going to have to address the issue eventually, but Megyn Kelly could have asked it in a more even handed way. Where she really got him was the question "When did you actually become a Republican?". Trump's answer about "evolving" sounded pretty Obamaesque. And trying to compare himself to Reagan didn't go well.
I wont relish the demise of Trump himself, but I will enjoy the Sweet Tears of Unfathomable Sadness from all the emotionally stunted or retarded adults - some of whom migrated to FR - who have been drooling at Trumps feet. You shall suffer, and it will be a delightful thing.
It will be like the end of a cult of personality. The good news is conservative leaning people tend to believe in God, so when they get suckered by con artists who eventually are revealed to be frauds, the emotional toll is probably not as bad as it would be for a secular leftist who has nothing else to fall back on.
An article in Bloomberg said they helped Trump
The Drudge report poll Trump got 260,000 votes, other polls all agreed he won the night.
Facebook had this morning 20,000 tweets against Kelly
By the way her nose is crooked like she broke it.
Trump’s wife makes Kelly look like roadkill.
Obama is the epitome of the cult of personality. He had absolutely no accomplishments. A total zero who conned his way into the Presidency and ran up the two highest vote totals in American history. Arguably, he has been the most trans-formative President since at least FDR. Obmacare, the EPA, gay rights, the hollowing out of the military, the flooding of this country with legal and illegal immigrants, two executive amnesties, etc. The culture and demography of this country have been permanently changed--not for the better.
Maybe the Reps should think about a cult of personality if they ever want to win the WH again. Reps have lost the popular vote in five of the last six elections. If Hillary wins in 2016, the Dems will essentially become the permanent majority party. The rapidly changing demographics fueled by immigration and birthrates guarantee it. Conservatism will become a small radical fringe philosophy. Adios, America.
