Trump: Megyn Kelly had blood coming out of her 'wherever'
The Hill ^ | August 7, 2015 | Neetzan Zimmerman

Donald Trump ratcheted up his feud with Fox News host Megyn Kelly over her role as moderator on Thursday night’s Republican debate, telling CNN’s Don Lemon he has no respect for her and thinks she’s “highly overrated."

"What is it with you and Megyn Kelly?” Lemon asked Trump, who had spent most of the past 24 hours slamming Fox News and Kelly on social media and in TV interviews. "She gets out and starts asking me all sorts of ridiculous questions,” Trump told Lemon. "You could see there was blood coming out of her eyes. Blood coming out of her — wherever.”

Trump also called Kelly a "lightweight" and went on to claim he wasn’t alone in his disapproval of Kelly’s debate-night demeanor, and that a source at Fox News told him they had been “inundated” with a record number of negative letters from angry viewers.

She asked him cheap shot set-up questions, based on orders from the GOP_e.

Limbaugh himself said on his show, before the debate was held, that he had heard the rich GOP donors had sent out the word to take out Trump immediately, that they were sick of his leading the polls.

The questions sucked: the chose each candidate on his least qualified point, but not with a straight, direct question, but framing the question in such a way as to set up the candidate for failure, or as ridiculous.

For example, why ask Walker about "just let the mother die" (instead of an abortion) when you have a Johns Hopkins neurosurgeon, who was performed surgery on babies in utero, standing maybe ten feet away?

The question about Trump was a softball, had he but used it: "Let's talk about the War on Women. That's supposed to set up Hillary. Remember when her husband was having illicit sex with 21-year-old intern IN THE OVAL OFFICE? He sent out his minions to lie about it, he sent out Hillary to lie about it; she even called it a 'vast right wing conspiracy' until Bill's body fluids were found on her dress. Bill suborned perjury -- a FELONY -- in the Paula Jones case, and is creditably accused by Juanita Brodderick of literal rape. Where were YOU then?"

Kelly scored the knockout punch against Trump, and now it’s the begining of the end.

I won’t relish the demise of Trump himself, but I will enjoy the Sweet Tears of Unfathomable Sadness from all the emotionally stunted or retarded adults - some of whom migrated to FR - who have been drooling at Trump’s feet. You shall suffer, and it will be a delightful thing.

I overlooked you FReepers for those I wanted to ping in post #58 upthread. Your comments and attempts to persuade me to your viewpoint(s) would be much appreciated. I look forward to enlightening discourse on the matter of Donald Trump.

Trump is raw right there and he needs to not say stupid stuff like that. Doesn’t do anyone any good.

This is just Trump and how he speaks and acts. He lets it all hang out. In a way it is a bit refreshing. However he mashes and jumbles phrases together that sometimes make absolutely no sense ... "I have to respect the person that, if it’s not me, the person that wins, if I do win, and I’m leading by quite a bit, that’s what I want to do.". :-)

I’m not particularly happy with what looks like targeted attacks on particular candidates, but on the plus side, they will need to be tough for the debate against the Democrat nominee.

It’s better to have our candidates face the tough questions now. I don’t want them getting softball questions now and then get blindsided and shredded by the driveby media in the R/D debates next year.

Good grief, this guy has thinner skin than Obama.

Exactly. If he was so easily rattled by the likes of Megyn Kelly, how would he do against the state-controlled peons at CNN or Hillary?

Even if 100,000 Trumpsters inundate her Facebook page, it’s a drop in the bucket.

Again, you can watch these ratings on the websites that track such things. I’d bet you her ratings continue their upward trajectory. By the end of next year she will probably have the #1 show in cable news, replacing BoR as the top cable news show.

Well I think I mentioned before....this was a take down from the Owners of Fox and whoever works with them to “clear the deck” as they will....but this was particularly nasty business against Trump...stunningly so....gutter language used and even using Kelly to present it...I'm sure it didn't much to convince her to take the heat they well knew this would bring.

"Last night was a travesty"...yep.... Fox destroyed the entire atmosphere of anything at all resembling a debate thereafter...I'm not even sure what you could call it.

Mister Trump (the big baby) is transparently trumping up reasons to be a pretend "victim" of the media - and thus turn third party spoiler.

Or the GOP nominee.

That’s exactly it.

They wasted valuable time on stupid questions about DT calling Rosie O a pig.

Look at the issues facing America! Isis. PP.

Illegal immigration. Our fubared economy and bleak job market.

And they open with some kind of crap about DT calling RO a pig?

Tough questions are to be expected and DT was far from the only candidate who got tough questions.

I don’t care what they ask any of the candidates just don’t lie and make it into an issue that it’s not.

She tried to make it about the “War on Women”.

Pffft!

Anybody who’s been here more than a few months and is even halfway paying attention knows better than that.

Some of the other candidates didn’t seem to be playing along.

Maybe they finally remembered,”Doh!The media could do that to us after DT is gone”.

And they will.

Most of us like Cruz. When DT is gone they’ll do him the same way they did DT and Sarah Palin before him.

I’m not mad because I’m a Trump supporter I’m mad because I’m an American!

The media has been stealing our beloved America for decades! Steering narratives and picking our candidates for us and trying to be the thought police.

I’m mad at almost all of those no good reporters. I have been for years. Who I’m supporting has nothing to do with it.

Anybody notice how I did my little rant without tearing down people who support another candidate or calling other posters names or insulting them?

Same thing happens every election. FR members turn on each other instead of our enemies.

The infighting here is just unbelievable.

People are going to be watching and evaluating whether this person has the temperament to be President of the United States. What we’re seeing in Trump is a guy who is used to being surrounded by “yes men” and not used to being questioned/challenged. I wish conservatives would challenge press narratives more, but twitter tantrums don’t suit someone running to be President.

I don't think you understand. The ONLY way that politicians are ever known and defined is by the press. Right now liberals control almost all aspects of media. Heck, almost all aspects of culture and society. A businessman like Trump was never going to get good press. Just like a conservative will NEVER get good press.

It's part of the reason why Republicans and conservatives never achieve anything. They never get good press and so the press defines them and they lose elections. As long as they play patty cake with the libs the press gives them a pass and will "allow" them to get re-elected. And so it goes.

Trump though saw that game. How do you get good press? Well you can play patty cakes with leftists...OR....you can blow up the press! He's currently on a tear. He's ripping down every press figure who DARES to try and define him to the American public. And that gets him MORE press and he's actually creating and controlling the narrative. It's really a thing of beauty. He's exposing the pressitutes for the cockroaches they are. Very early on he's taking away one of the lefts most POWERFUL weapons...the incestuos media.

He's looking at the big picture. The long haul when he know he'll have to cut the ties between the left and the media. And it's working!

Trump is not a conservative. He’s not a gentleman. He has no political philosophy. He’s not interesting. He says nothing intelligent. His vocabulary is weak. He mistakes bluster and spittle for courage.

The questions were perfectly fine. He’s on TV whining about how the girl picked on him and making a joke about her being on her period. He wants the hardest job in the world and he has a tantrum about unfair questions.

He will never hold elective office. His support right now is a revenge fantasy against the media and the GOP establishment. When the adrenals of the abused conservative base finish squirting, any moment now, Trump’s poll numbers will start their slow, inexorable slide.

I repeat: Donald Trump will not be the GOP nominee this year or ever. He will not be the President, ever.

Last presidential election cycle, Newt schooled the Media many times, without having the emotional breakdown that Trump appears to be having.

Trump is not tough. He’s fragile and afraid. Kelly wounded him, and he doesn’t know what to do.

Or watching the Dems talk about Barack Obama who had the two highest vote totals in US history. We are in a new era. Trump has been a reality star for 12 years. Millions think they know him. Being a celebrity matters. Hillary is no different. Just as we know Beyonce, Lebron, and Cher, you only need one name if you are famous.

I am a die-hard Kelly fan.

Kelly file is the best show on FNC. She has talent.

Trump gets some questions that he didn't want to be asked and goes into a hissy fit.
Jeeze, he's the front-runner.

FNC is bragging that they made history with the # of viewers watching the debate,

Trump will no doubt show up in the next debate that is on FNC, in spite of his whining about this.

I have no taste for un-needed drama.

“Trump is sounding insane.”

In my opinion, you are close to correct and he will get worse - a narcissistic personality can’t stand one iota of criticism. He will explode at some point and I hope it happens sooner than later so we can get back to serious candidates who want to save this country.

I’ve already posted this on another thread, but am posting it again for the last time (consider the rest in quotes):

From the DSM V - Personality Disorders

Narcissistic Personality Disorder

Grandiosity
Feelings of entitlement; self-centeredness; belief that one is better than others

Attention seeking
Excessive attempts to attract and be the focus of the attention of others
