The U.S. intelligence community is bracing for the possibility that former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton’s private email account contains hundreds of revelations of classified information from spy agencies and is taking steps to contain any damage to national security, according to documents and interviews Thursday.
The top lawmakers on the House and Senate intelligence committee have been notified in recent days that the extent of classified information on Mrs. Clinton’s private email server was likely far more extensive than the four emails publicly acknowledged last week as containing some sensitive spy agency secrets.
A U.S. official directly familiar with the notification, who spoke only on condition of anonymity, said the notification of possibly hundreds of additional emails with classified secrets came from the State Department Freedom of Information Act office to the Office of Inspector General for the Director of National Intelligence.
The inspector general, the chief oversight watcdog for the entire U.S. intelligence community, subsequently sent a letter to the Republican chairmen and ranking Democrats of both the Senate and House intelligence committees, the official said. (snip)

The magnitude is likely understated, and the transfer likely involved compensation. My guess is they were sold for cash or other good and valuable considerations.

The entire goal of the Obama/Clinton administration has been to peel away the protective advantages of America: intelligence and defense technology. The current government is littered with Clinton and Obama appointees all of which will stay long after they’re gone. It’s like an unresolved infection or a cancer. The damage has been done big time.
The “hack” of the background checks was an inside job. Imagine the data of every career intelligence officer, staffers, etc. available to our enemies. How can you fire them all and start over? How can you undo that? This is revenge and I suspect it’s from Putin and his neo-Soviet pals.

Valerie Plame was in the headlines for more than a year. The (false) claim that Scooter Libbey had outed her and thus endangered her caused so much anti-Republican shrieking in the media. Think how many active undercover operatives, both Americans and foreigners who helped us, have been exposed by Hillary’s using non-secure transmissions. Crickets on this from the MSM.
