I posed this question last week on another thread.
If it is all about health care than why are fighting states like Texas, when they try and adopt a law that requires their clinics to meet the same standards as other out-patient surgical facilities and their doctors must be affiliated (practice privileges) with a one of the local hospitals.
The Hill: Poll: 63 Percent Oppose Defunding Planned Parenthood
Sixty-three percent of registered voters oppose cutting off federal funds to Planned Parenthood, according to a new poll commissioned by the organization
I believe this says it all
“If it is all about health care than why are fighting states like Texas, when they try and adopt a law that requires their clinics to meet the same standards as other out-patient surgical facilities and their doctors must be affiliated (practice privileges) with a one of the local hospitals.”
Same fight here in NC. I cannot get a single pro abortion liberal I know to justify why abortion clinics should not meet the standards of surgical facilities. The phrase that shuts them up - “I thought a key reason for legalized abortion was to eliminate the back alley butchers.”
