My point is that although Trump
makes a few points that need to

Illegal, and stupid legal, immigration is the issue. We will shortly be taken over by an invasion, with only the occasional criminal shots fired, and nothing Conservatives do will matter once a few more key states turn blue due to imported entitlement voters. Game, set, match.
The GOPe will happily take the role of permanent but privileged minority and stop even the pretence of being a Conservative party. Boehner and McConnell would be pleased as punch: All the perks without even having to pretend to want to turn the ship around anymore. Instead of lying to us at election time and give us the finger every other season, they’ll just give us the finger once and for all....we are just crazies, after all.
Walker can sign a thousand abortion bills. Jeb can cut the government payroll a little. Graham can make nice with Rats. Rubio can peel off a scant few votes from the La Raza types, if he doesn’t act too conservative.
Except for the possible exception of Cruz, none of these clowns is going to secure the border, enforce laws so the illegals self deport, reject fedgov control of education or offer a meaningful alternative to Obamacare. They are all beholden to the COC money machine.
They are, at best, Hillary light, the same policies with some different paint on the trim, and as crass and reckless as Trump is, at this point I prefer him in the race, stirring the pot and making the Tom Donahue puppets squirm.
I’d rather roll the dice with loose cannon Trump than accept the loaded dice the GOPe hands us every election. Jeb will be Hillary in slow motion, and at least if our chains are put on us too quickly some may wake up and object.
I pray Cruz isn’t bought and paid for, but I have my doubts.
