I have to take the Bible literally when it refers to horses. The tanks, I believe, are mentioned in Revelation as well. Of course, John, who had the vision, had no idea what they were, but, there was no mistaken horses. In Afghanistan, they ride horses because the terrain isn’t fit for tanks, etc.
