Was Perot ever leading the nomination? This is just another tactic by the establishment to bash Trump. This is Apples and Oranges.

Pray America is waking

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reform_Party_of_the_United_States_of_America

“The Reform Party of the United States of America (RPUSA), generally known as the Reform Party USA or the Reform Party, is a political party in the United States, founded in 1995 by Ross Perot. Perot said Americans were disillusioned with the state of politics—as being corrupt and unable to deal with vital issues—and desired a viable alternative to the Republican and Democratic parties. The party had nominated several notable candidates over the years, such as founder Ross Perot, Pat Buchanan, and Ralph Nader.

The party’s most significant victory came when Jesse Ventura was elected governor of Minnesota in 1998....

The Reform Party’s presidential candidate for the 2000 election was due federal matching funds of $12.5 million, based on Perot’s 8% showing in 1996. Early on, there was a failed effort to draft Ron Paul.

Donald Trump entered the race briefly, giving television interviews outlining his platform. Trump was progressive on social issues, and supported allowing openly gay soldiers in the military, saying: “it would not disturb me.” Trump considered himself a conservative, but criticized Pat Buchanan, saying: “I’m on the conservative side, but Buchanan is Attila the Hun.” He withdrew from the race citing the party’s infighting, as did Jesse Ventura and the Minnesota Reform Party.........”

My assessment of his value to me is not bashing him. Nor is my not going to vote for him bashing him. I’ve never gone the tack of some here that bash everything he’s done.

He has a value to me as long as it stays that which I see now. To depart on a campaign to do otherwise I’m not for.

That’s about all I can say on it. Personal opinion and very targeted in scope.
