Do I detect INTELLIGENCE here ?
Well, we’ll soon put an end to THAT !

Intelligence, common sense, however one wants to characterize it. Political candidates always say things on the campaign trail that are suspect. We must look at their past to see who and what they really are.
Those who ignore the candidates' past and buy into their current rhetoric are fools.

No shortage of fools out there. Sadly, there are too many FReepers who fall into this category.

Yup. Just read this thread. I have presented the facts that Donald J Trump supports socialized health care paid for with higher taxes. That is exactly what Obama, Hillary, Reid, and most every liberal democRAT is for. But the Trumpets continue to either ignore or deny those facts even though I have provided proof in the form of a direct quote from the man in his own words. If that’s not foolish I don’t know what is. It is most certainly liberal.

Huey Long was a politician. Donald Trump is a circus sideshow with no political experience whatsoever. Both are/were kooks, though.

I was trying to think of the quintessential populist politician in recent history. Trump is merely increasing the global value of the “Trump” name. That’s all this is about.
