Is Obama Disappointed by the Christian Response in Charleston?
pjmedia.com ^ | David Forsmark

Barack Obama seems awfully disappointed by how Christians in Charleston have used the Charleston atrocity to glorify God from the pulpit of Emanuel AME Church instead of looking to his Bully Pulpit.

I would wager that he said more favorable things about the Brown and Martin families than those courageous relatives of the Charleston 9. And he expressed far more understanding about the reactions in Baltimore and Ferguson. Barack Obama never called rioting an “unimaginable” response to a justified police shooting; but that was his reaction to a call for Christian forgiveness.

In fact, the president got so pathetically desperate for attention this weekend that while people in Charleston were praising Jesus, he went on Marc Maron’s cult podcast and dropped an N-bomb.

There, THAT ought to get everybody’s attention!

However, it really didn’t. Even the president doing a professorial version of Snoop Dogg became a side issue, as the only speech that riveted the nation this week, about how we all ought to act as children of God, came from Rev. Norvell Goff of Emanuel AME Church.

He wouldn't have went to S.C. if it had turned into Ferguson, or Baltimore or Chicago....

I don’t think he’s disappointed ... I think he is royally pissed .... which is why he covered himself with that goofy display of phoney Christian sing song

Yes, which is why he tried to get people stirred up during his self-promoting speech at the funeral service.

It’s obvious that Obama would be disappointed by how Christians responded. Christianity is foreign to him.

Yes, which is why he tried to get people stirred up during his self-promoting speech at the funeral service.

And that's why he dropped the N-bomb in his interview with WTF radio. It was one of the rare times when he gave a "tell," as he paused and smirked slightly before uttering it.

With all due respect to those families that church invited a proponent of homosexuality and the murder of unborn children to speak from their pulpit.

I think the phoney Christian president is angry that parishioners forgave Storm. I bet Soros was on the phone minutes after the shooting was on the air ready to send his phoney activists in to stoke racial tension but couldn’t because the parishioners realized this wasn’t a group assault on the church but a psychotic troubled white youth that was clearly mentally defective.

Sorry Soros. Maybe next staged shooting you’ll get your chance. Check with Valerie Jarrett to see what’s on the schedule.

0 just can’t get the riots and destruction going in Charleston. The EMP plot did not work. Now his riots over murder of blacks did not start.

Non-Christians are particularly angered by Christ's commandments for forgiveness and universal love.

This is fundamental to Christianity.

The response in Charleston troubles all liberals, because it flies in the face of the conventional wisdom about the South, and race relations.

Many who live in the North are simply gobsmacked. How can this be, southerners and blacks getting along? It is mostly from the religiosity that pervades the South, but there’s a cultural/political element in play also.

Blacks and whites in the South have melded faster than counterparts in the North, we are integrating, intermarrying, heck, we’re even committing crimes together. I see this everyday in my business, and this is occurring across class and income levels. Everywhere you go you can see this. It’s not just Charleston. It’s anywhere that’s RED, instead of BLUE.

If liberals lose the ability to condemn southern whites as bigots, it’s a big deal, and Charleston will go a long way toward making this possible, IMHO.

I was wondering if anyone knew what the murdered pastor thought about same sex marriage. Interesting that the verdict came down the same day that Obama gave the eulogy.
