Ted Cruz On Supreme Court Rulings: ‘Some Of The Darkest 24 Hours In Our Nation’s History’ [AUDIO]
The Daily Caller ^ | June 26, 2015 | Al Weaver

Continuing his critique of the Supreme Court’s recent decisions on Obamacare and same-sex marriage, Sen. Ted Cruz said Friday that the rulings mark “some of the darkest 24 hours in our nations history.”

Cruz made the comments in an interview on Sean Hannity’s radio show Friday afternoon.

“Today is some of the darkest 24 hours in our nation’s history,” Cruz said.

“I couldn’t say it more eloquently,” Hannity responded.

“Yesterday and today were both naked and shameless judicial activism,” Cruz said. “Neither decision — the decision yesterday rewriting Obamacare for the second time. Six justices joined the Obama administration. You now have President Obama, Kathleen Sebelius and six justices responsible for forcing this failed disaster of a law on millions of Americans, and simply rewriting the law in a way that is fundamentally contrary to their judicial oaths.”

“And then today, this radical decision purporting to strike down the marriage laws of every state. It has no connection to the United States Constitution. They are simply making it up,” Cruz said. “It is lawless, and in doing so, they have undermined the fundamentally legitimacy of the United States Supreme Court.”(continued)

Election Day 2008 and 2012 were evil damaging days for the USA also.

The immigration bill of 1965 ranks right up there too.

Know that if you support Trump, you are supporting a liberal Democrat. His own record and his own words leave no doubt.

Cruz is at the opposite end of the spectrum from Trump.

I recall when the Enron situation went down there was a cartoon in the New Yorker: a secretary sticks her head into her bosses office and said she had just gotten a call from accounting 2+2 will again = 0
I have no such hope for our language.

“Cruz is at the opposite end of the spectrum from Trump.”

Not entirely. Cruz supports replacing Americans with foreign workers through the H-1B program. Trump doesn’t.

You know, I have repeatedly heard that we need to get enough states together and do an amendment to the constitution. The problem is that there is where it ends. Why are we not already doing it? Is it that nobody in the conservative wing of the Republican Party knows how to make it happen or is there really nobody willing to stick their neck out and get the ball rolling. Sure, everyone who participates will be roasted by the commie media outlets but that cannot be a reason to not do what needs to be done. Can anyone tell me why there has been no real action on this?

With Trump you would be replacing one evil narcissistic idiot with an inept narcissistic idiot.

Perhaps a “new government”, once legally elected by the citizens of this country will revise our Constitution to ELIMINATE and completely replace the entire current SCOTUS. If the SCOTUS can rewrite our laws by doing so illegally, we should also be able to replace the once lawful branch of the government.

Better get ready for the next unlawful edict from Obama’s own personal court, formerly known as the Supreme Court of the United State. You better buy all the guns and ammo you can get because that is on their short list. They may make it impossible to get any new guns or ammo but there are literally millions who like me are well stocked and ready to defend the constitutional rights of every American. Remember, Molon Labe..

Ever notice how we are tripped up by the words we use. The headlines, in bold language, proclaim “The Supreme Court approves gay marriage.” It is said with the finality that we assign to the sun rising in the east. It is a brand new, just discovered natural law. We all bow in submission. Actually, the Supreme Court did not just approve gay marriage, the Supreme Court ENFORCED gay marriage. And, the Supreme Court is a Constitutionally empaneled body that was designed to be the final arbiter of judicial decisions involving narrow court cases, not cases involving the entire body of ancient common law, going back to King Alfred the Great in England. Furthermore, it was a decision made by five justices who grabbed their ruling out of thin air to justify their preconceived ideas. A more accurate headline would be: “Five Supreme Court justices RULE to destroy marriage.”

Cruz ain’t perfect. Pretty sure the only One who is sits at God’s right hand.

Trump supports universal health care and tax increases. He has tried to convince the government to use its powers of eminent domain to snatch property from private owners...for his own benefit.

He self-identified as a Democrat, and he said that the economy does better under Democrats.

And he still donates to 100% pro-abortion politicians.

Did he call for the Congress to remove them from Office?

If not he hasn’t done squat but flap his gums.

Yesterday was infuriating. Today knocked me flat all day. I can’t even look at people without wondering if they are one of the fools that cheered this. Damn fools.

Yeah, they haven’t impeached the executive, but they’re going to impeach six supreme court justices? Don’t be ridiculous.

Trump IS the ESTABLISHMENT and a HUGE “crony capitalist”; besides having the emotional level of a child in the throws of the terrible twos!
