I've thought for years about getting into Civil War reenacting. This may be what spurs me to do it. I'll wear blue (that's my heritage), but will always keep this in mind:

The National Park Service Wednesday asked groups operating gift shops at national Civil War battlefields and monuments to pull the Confederate flag and items featuring only the flag — mugs, key chains, T-shirts — from store shelves, said Kathy Kupper, a National Park Service spokeswoman.
The Gettysburg Foundation, which runs the gift shop and book store at the Gettysburg National Military Park visitor Museum and Visitor Center does not plan to pull its Confederate flag items.

Your post reminds of the scene in “Amadeus” where the stage dancers were dancing but here was no music. It was ridiculous and absurd.
I guess we can’t watch movies like Glory anymore where the Rebs win the battle.
About 20 years ago I predicted a revolution about this time with the hope that when it’s over, we start over again with the same constitution.
Forget the uniforms.
I was by the local firearms and ammo store today. They were mobbed. They’re crowded on weekends but it’s never like this on a weekday.
Guaranteed in two weeks the park service will kick the foundation out.
Hey, make Six Flags amusement park change their name. They fly the Stars and Bars flag.
Read another article here on FR today where Amazon said they were told by the Federal Govt. to stop selling Confederate items.
Guess the 1st Amendment means nothing to this regime.
