So-called “liberals” are proudly displaying their disdain for Liberty calling for the removal of the Confederate battle flag from our midst. They say that the losers in a war shouldn’t get to fly their flag, and they’ve arbitrarily decided it ‘represents racism’ not to mention it was right there with the Charleston Church shooter….
Okay, let’s apply that rationale to the flag of Mexico – they lost a war with the US and as for racism, we should check with ‘La Raza’ on that score. In addition the Mexican flag represents a clear and present danger to US sovereignty via the invasion of illegals that it is fomenting. The illegal invasion threat is much more dire that a few good ol’ boys flying the Confederate battle flag from the back of their pickup trucks.
Turnabout is fair play. What say you people who denigrate Liberty on a daily basis and yet still maintain the moniker of “Liberal”? Can we apply your twisted logic to another symbol? In your head long rush to suppress thought crime, can we apply the same rules you use or is your speech sacrosanct?
Stew on that “Liberals” whilst you celebrate one more of your victories against freedom.

We would have had amnesty a decade ago if it were not for the Mexican Flag. Pictures of those idiots waving it in protests were what riled the populace and stopped the Bush plan dead in its tracks.

Nice try but not gonna gain any demovotes if that were to happen. “They’d” simply blame it on the republicans. Or call out any conservative as racist. Which I’m still not sure of since that hell hole ended up under Spanish control and I kinda thought Spain was part of europe. It’s all to confusing. When will someones lifestyle get classified as a “race”.

Agree with banning the Mexican flag and all things and people Mexican as “the Mexican flag represents a clear and present danger to US sovereignty via the invasion of illegals that it is fomenting”. But the rest of the post is BS and misses the point why the Confederate flag must go to a museum AND the hate, racism, and bigotry associated with it must be addressed. Most Republicans and conservatives are not hateful, racist, bigots, but insisting on and defending the Confederate flag sure blurs that distinction and, unfortunately, gives fodder to the Democratic and media meme to the contrary. And all of these comparative complaints are like our kids asking why they can’t stay up late since the neighbor’s kids are still out playing. Our rules and values are different.
Agreed, those are all Divisive symbols of hate.
The same rules should apply should they not?
I would add to the list the flag of North Vietnam, Visages of Che Guevara, the flag of the Soviet Union…..
