Clyburn: Charleston Shooting A Result Of America's "Right-Wing Drift"

Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” Rep. James Clyburn (D-SC) discussed the fatal shooting of nine parishioners inside Emanuel AME Church in Charleston, SC and blamed the shooting on a “right-wing drift in the country” that has “gone too far.”

Democrats say it’s a sign of rightward drift. Republicans say it’s a sign of leftward drift. All it’s a sign of is that there are some sick puppies out there and we’ll never get rid of them all.

So let me get this straight.

A Southern Democrat is accusing right wingers (Republicans) of promoting racism when the Republicans fought to end slavery and passed all civil rights laws and fought against Democrat led KKK and Jim Crow laws since the party's birth? While Democrats support abortion on demand which has led to the genocide of more black babies than any other action known to mankind?

Well, that can be fixed the same way the left fixes everything-just ban the right-wing. First make it politically incorrect, beyond the pale, then ban it from the marketplace, both the economic one and the one of ideas, then outright ban it. It’s the agenda they’re using on real Christianity. Then there won’t be any need to talk about an opposition, loyal or otherwise, because everything that’s not declared correct by the left will be banned.

They are even working on banning reality, as it opposes their agenda.

I have to agree that we shouldn't play the political blame-game and say this shooting was caused by the country abandoning Christianity and Biblical values, or because of liberal Supreme Court decisions, or because of some other liberal trend. There have always been nut jobs like this, and there always will be.
