Rico suffere from the same problem that the bulk of the monotones suffer from: they can’t communicate worth a damn. You can say smart things, brilliant things and still have the message lost. If it means anything, he did say it was a “drug-induced accident”, accident being the result of a drug he was reportedly using that was supposed to help him overcome his addictions. Said drug has a history of driving people to violent acts. It probably was drug-induced, judging from his facial expression in some of his photos.

We might point at the drugs and say they screwed up his head, but most accidents don't require 6 months of planning.
