I'm with you Paul. This guy is clearly white. He's got a little tan but this is Charleston, SC so everyone has a nice tan. His bowl-cut hair (wig?) is very odd for an American in his 20s but having lived in Charleston for a few years myself, I can say there are some surfer redneck types down there that aren't very typical.

The white nose (bandage?) could be to throw off the facial recognition software that is used to ID people in photos and video. Or he may have just had it recently broken by some thugs and went to the Church to get what he foolishly thought was payback. Who knows at this point? Could be a Russian provocateur for all we know. He needs to be caught ASAP. All of that said, CNN (and the rest of the MSM) are loving this act of "white on black" "hate crime" violence. They couldn't wait a second to ID him as a white racist hater! What a bunch of A-holes!

Well, as it turns out, the guy actually DOES look a little like Opie from the Andy Griffith Show. But he certainly didn't look anything like him in any of the surveillance photos, original OR the updated.

Here below is the original surveillance which showed what first appeared to be a large nose.

And here below is the updated photo with a rather small nose.

Finally, a clear pic of the suspect (below), looking more like Opie than in the earlier photos.
